CANFIELD
Oct. 20
Theft: A & quot;Buses Only NO PARKING & quot; sign was stolen from C.H. Campbell Elementary School.
Oct. 21
Theft: A clerk at the BP gas station reported being short-changed by a couple. The man paid for $5 worth of gas in advance and gave the clerk a $50 bill, then asked for the bill back and began to ask for change several times. The couple then left without pumping gas. The clerk said the cash drawer was $40 short at the end of the day.
Oct. 22
Disorderly conduct: Two students, a 17-year-old Austintown boy and an 18-year-old Columbiana boy, were arrested for disorderly conduct for fighting at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center.
Theft from vehicle: Two 12-inch speakers, a 12-foot speaker box and an Alpine CD player were stolen from a vehicle at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center.
AUSTINTOWN
Oct. 20
Break-in: About $300 in cash was stolen from Unique Costume, 4498 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Cabinets were stolen from an unoccupied residence in the 100 block of North Beverly Avenue.
Theft: A scooter was stolen from B.W. Rogers, 1034 N. Meridian Road.
Criminal mischief: A vehicle was egged in the 5000 block of Baylor Drive.
Oct. 21
Auto theft: A 1990 Buick LeSabre was stolen from the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A chain-link gate was taken from a home in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: Bill's Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave., reported the theft of $100.
Criminal damaging: Lawn damage was reported in the 3000 block of Monaca Avenue.
Burglary: Entry was gained through an unlocked window at a residence in the 4000 block of Woodmere Drive.
Criminal damaging: A cell phone was broken at a home in the 4000 block of Pinetrace Drive.
Oct. 22
Burglary: The outside door and inside bedroom door were damaged at a residence in the 200 block of South Roanoke Avenue. It is unknown if anything was missing.
Burglary: An unknown amount of money was stolen from a residence in the 600 block of Purdue Avenue.
Burglary: Numerous items were taken from a residence in the 200 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
Oct. 23
Criminal damage: A window was damaged in the 100 block of Howard Avenue.
Burglary: About $300 in coins was taken from an apartment in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.
Oct. 24
Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged in the 1000 block of Signature Place.
Theft from auto: A door lock was damaged and stereo equipment was stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Woodhurst Drive.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Antonio's, 1601 S. Raccoon Road.
Auto theft: A 1996 Pontiac Grand Am was stolen from the 4000 block of Pinetrace Drive.
Oct. 25
Theft from auto: A purse with numerous credit cards in it was stolen from a vehicle at the Ice House, 5516 W. Webb Road.
Theft: A purse was stolen from the east stands at Fitch High School stadium.
Criminal damage: A video poker machine was punched by a patron at TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft from auto: Power tools were taken from a vehicle in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft from vehicle: A stereo and 90 CDs were stolen from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Deer Creek.
Burglary: The front door was kicked in at a residence in the 600 block of Purdue Avenue.
Theft from auto: About $660 in cash was taken from a glove compartment at Wal-Mart.
Criminal damage: A tire was cut on an auto in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Burglary: A burglary was reported at a residence in the 4000 block of Deopham Green Drive, but nothing was reported missing.
Theft: A purse with a phone and identification was stolen from Giant Eagle.
Criminal damaging: A car convertible top was damaged by a pumpkin in the 100 block of Country Green Drive.
Burglary: Prescription medications were stolen from an apartment in the 500 block of North Meridian Road.
Criminal damage: A sign, post and light were damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Staatz Drive.
Attempted theft: Damage was done to the lock and interior of a vehicle in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft from auto: A vehicle was entered by removing the driver's side door lock in the 1000 block of Paisley Street.
