Introducing new stamp
WARREN -- A new stamp on the theme "Stop Family Violence" will be introduced in ceremonies at 10 a.m. Friday at the main post office, 201 High St. The cost of the new stamp includes the price of first-class postage plus a contribution to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in accordance with the Stamp Out Domestic Violence Act of 2001. Proceeds from sale of the stamps will help agencies provide counseling, legal assistance, transportation, food, clothing and other necessities for abuse victims.
