Here's an update on eight men charged Thursday with soliciting sex on Youngstown's South Side. They appeared Friday in municipal court:
Kenneth Wilson, 51, of Glenwood Avenue. Pleaded no contest. Judge Robert P. Milich sentenced him to 60 days in jail, suspended it all, fined him $100 and placed him on one year's probation.
Anthony N. Nwankwo, 47, of Guadalupe Avenue. Pleaded no contest. Same.
Blakely J. McKelley, 45, of Glenwood Avenue. Pleaded innocent and will be back in court Nov. 10.
Gregory Lerman, 51, of Beverly Hills Drive. Pleaded innocent and will be back in court Dec. 15.
Gary L. Lakatos, 38, of Nantucket Drive, Austintown. Pleaded innocent and will be back in court Nov. 24.
Randall Colla Jr., 24, of Brownlee Avenue. Pleaded innocent and will be back in court Dec. 9.
Ira Baird, 70, of Phil Rose Lane, Poland. Pleaded innocent and will be back in court Dec. 3.
Maurice Moore, 30, of Marmion Avenue. He will be arraigned Tuesday on charges of soliciting sex and child endangering. He pleaded innocent to driving under suspension Friday and will be back in court Dec. 16 on that charge.
