DEDICATION: Mount Union College in Alliance celebrated the dedication of its new $23 million Bracy Hall for natural sciences last month. Housing biology, chemistry, physics and astronomy departments, the 87,000-square-foot building has four floors, 22 labs, three lecture halls, two classrooms and 21 faculty offices. The hall was designed to support technological advancements and faculty/student and interdepartmental interaction and to make science visible to the community. It was funded by a lead gift of $15 million from Jim and Vanita (Bauknight) Oelschlager of Akron and named after the college's sixth president, Carl C. Bracy.
