XBOARDMAN -- Graham Walker Curchin and his bride, the former Jennifer Christine Conklin, were married at 4 p.m. Oct. 11 at Boardman United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Ash Welch presided for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Conklin Jr., 194 Carter Circle, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander B. Curchin III, 3515 Cedar Ridge Road, Joplin, Mo.
A reception was held afterward at Tippecanoe Country Club, Canfield.
After a honeymoon on the Hawaiian island of Maui, the couple live at 3436 N. Seminary, Chicago.
The bride's A-line white silk gown featured spaghetti straps and an ivory beaded sash.
Champagne-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Elizabeth Kohne, and the bridesmaids, Kathryn Melzer, Stefanie Neuman, Theresa Detec, Jennifer Dreher, Christina Griffith and Louise Secker, the groom's sister. Flower girl was his niece, Anne Secker.
Alexander Curchin was his brother's best man, and groomsmen were Scott Hiltebrant, Ryan Esch, Steven Schwab, Scott Dierks, Jeff Conklin, brother of the bride, and Eric Secker, the groom's brother-in-law. Ring bearer was his nephew, William Secker, and ushers were Jacob Mintz and Scott Melzer.
The bride and groom graduated from Miami University with bachelor's degrees, hers in communications and his in economics. She is a marketing specialist with C.B. Richard Ellis, and he is in the private client services group with Lehman Brothers, both in Chicago.
