LOWELLVILLE Village council

Six candidates are running for two four-year seats. Information for four of the candidates -- Councilmen Ronald Rotunno and Jim Alfano, and challengers Joseph J. Rossi, the mayor who is not seeking re-election, and Alan Russo -- appeared in Monday's election guide. Candidate Michele Packner didn't return a candidate questionnaire. Below is the information for the other candidate, Paul Meehan.

Age: 48.
Home: 346 Second St.
Education: A 1978 graduate from Youngstown State University with a bachelor of science degree in business; a 1973 Lowellville High School graduate.
Family: Wife, Patty; three children.
Priority: To work with other council members and the new mayor on the budget, to increase our income by working on new business and collecting any money owed to the village, and to control expenses by cutting unnecessary costs.
