Gift boxes for children
NILES -- Operation Christmas Child begins its kickoff for public awareness of "Shoe Boxes for Christmas" from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Eastwood Mall. OCC will distribute free shoe boxes to the public so they can be filled and returned to the Operation Christmas Child Trumbull County Relay Center collection site, 5400 Oak Hill, Champion. They will be shipped to countries all over the world. Shoe boxes should be filled with Christmas toys, school supplies, hygiene items and candy.
