Valerie Berendt, Jeffrey Rainer plan July 19 wedding

XAnnouncement is being made of the forthcoming wedding of Valerie Lynn Berendt, 720 Newport Lane, Streetsboro, and Jeffrey David Rainer, 1843 Wampum Drive, Youngstown.
Parents of the couple are Kathleen Berendt, 38 N. Glenellen Ave., Youngstown; Martin Berendt Jr., 633 Edison Ave., Struthers; and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rainer of the Wampum Drive address.
The couple's open ceremony has been set for 1 p.m. July 19 at St. Brendan Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for a reception to be held that evening at St. Nicholas Byzantine Center, Youngstown.
Miss Berendt holds a bachelor's degree in industrial-systems engineering from Youngstown State University and is a loss-prevention consultant with FM Global in North Olmsted.
Her fiance graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in education, where he is pursuing a master's degree in educational administration. He is a special-education teacher with Streetsboro City Schools.
