The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for seniors, children 3 to 11 and students with ID. Tickets to "Eternal Egypt" must be purchased in combination with admission. The combined price is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and pupils and $7 for children. PEGGY NOTEBAERT NATURE MUSEUM
The museum has "Magic: The Science of Illusion" on display through Sept. 1. The museum is at 2430 N. Cannon Drive and has permanent displays of mounted and live animals, including a butterfly haven. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and students and $4 for children 3 to 12. Admission is free Thursdays. MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART
Located at 220 E. Chicago Ave., just off Michigan Avenue, the museum is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults, $6 for students and seniors, free to children 12 and under and free to all Tuesdays.
