BOARDMAN
May 19
Criminal damage: A vehicle parked in the 1800 block of Leland Avenue had $250 worth of damage to a door window.
Theft: An employee at Subway Sandwiches & amp; Salads, 998 E. Western Reserve Road, discovered $60 missing from a safe.
Theft: Two women reported their cellular phones stolen from the kitchen of a residence in the 8100 block of Hitchcock Road.
Theft: A man in the 1300 block of Fox Run Court reported $2,500, two bags of clothing, a pair of shoes and a cellular phone stolen.
Criminal damage: A vehicle's passenger-side door-lock assembly was damaged while the car was in the 1700 block of Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A man reported a phone stolen from his vehicle while the car was parked at the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A 15-year-old Youngstown girl was charged with theft after $37.72 worth of merchandise was taken from Target discount store, 417 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Two men stole eight packages of undergarments from Dollar General discount store, 5953 South Ave.
Robbery: A woman in the 4600 block of Waseka Lane reported that some men forced her son off his bicycle near New England Boulevard and Montrose Avenue before stealing it.
Theft: A Michigan woman reported her cellular phone stolen from her room while she stayed at the Red Roof Inn, 1051 Tiffany Blvd.
Felonious assault: A woman in the 5000 block of Aravesta Avenue reported that someone intentionally struck her son with a motor vehicle on Indianola Road.
May 20
Arrest: Police charged a 14-year-old Boardman boy with assault after a man reported that his son, 13, was assaulted on a school bus.
Theft: An employee at Spectrum Metal Finishing Inc., 535 Bev Road, reported that a man loaded aluminum scrap into a 55-gallon drum, placed it into his vehicle and fled.
Criminal damage: Someone damaged a basketball backboard and picnic table on a playground at St. Mark's Church, 280 Mill Creek Drive.
Theft: A woman in the 4500 block of Grover Drive discovered a coffee table and another piece of furniture missing from her front porch.
Theft: A 30-year-old Youngstown man was arrested on a theft charge after a pair of tennis shoes was stolen from Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road. He also was charged with receiving stolen property after police alleged he was in possession of a stolen vehicle.
Theft: Police arrested a 24-year-old Niles woman on a theft charge after four shirts and a swimsuit were stolen from Dillard's department store in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A Struthers man reported an 18-inch gold chain and a gold charm item stolen while he was at the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: An Erskine Avenue boy reported his 24-inch mountain bike stolen near Boardman High School.
Theft, forgery: A man in the 10 block of Midwood Circle reported that someone cashed two First Place Bank checks totaling $115.
Assault: A boy in the 4200 block of Hillman Way reported that two male teens assaulted him on a school bus.
Stolen property: Police charged a 19-year-old New Castle, Pa., man with receiving stolen property and theft after two shirts were stolen from American Eagle Outfitters in the Southern Park Mall, and after a shirt was taken from Kaufmann's. He also was charged with possessing a false driver's license.
Theft: A woman reported two cellular phones stolen from her sister's purse while the woman was at the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: An employee at The Boathouse Restaurant, 7323 South Ave., reported 12 sections of cast-iron fencing missing from a rear parking lot.
May 21
Arrest: Police charged a Lake Milton woman, 39, with complicity to forgery and passing bad checks after four bad checks totaling $1,915 were passed at two First Place Bank locations, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road and 724 Boardman-Poland Road.
Assault: A man in the 4400 block of Devonshire Drive reported that his son was assaulted while on a school bus.
Possible breaking and entering: A man in the 4200 block of Oak Knoll Drive discovered a screen removed from a window to his residence.
Theft: A woman in the 5400 block of Southern Boulevard reported assorted hand tools and a speaker box removed from her vehicle's trunk.
Burglary, auto theft: Someone broke into a residence in the 100 block of Newport Drive and stole a DVD player, a laptop computer, a weed trimmer, hedge trimmers and miscellaneous keys. Also, a 1991 Mercedes 560 SEL was missing from the driveway.
Theft: A desk clock was stolen from La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery, 770 Boardman-Poland Road.
Burglary: A man in the 100 block of Newport Drive reported that someone broke into his garage and went through his vehicles.
Domestic violence: An Oak Knoll man was charged with domestic violence after his wife reported being a victim.
Theft: Two personal checks and a $525 deposit were missing from an office at East of Chicago Pizza, 92 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A 34-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with theft after a Target employee alleged she removed price tags from several pieces of merchandise before trying to steal the items.
Domestic violence: A 16-year-old Jaguar Drive boy was charged with domestic violence after a man reported a situation between his son and stepdaughter.
Auto theft: A 1983 Olds Cutlass was stolen from the Cinemark Movies 8 parking lot, 469 Boardman-Poland Road.
Auto theft: A woman alleged her boyfriend took her 1999 Chevrolet Blazer without permission after an argument.
May 22
Arrest: Police arrested a Poland man, 23, and a Canfield man, 22, and charged each with assault.
Vandalism: A man in the 800 block of Oakridge Drive discovered a U.S. government vehicle's rear window damaged.
Domestic violence: A 12-year-old Boardman boy was charged with domestic violence after a Grover Drive woman reported a family member struck her.
Criminal damage: Someone shattered a door window panel at a residence in the 700 block of Annawan Lane.
Assault: A Boardman High School employee reported that a student was assaulted while in a welding room.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 5900 block of Glenridge Road reported that someone damaged three sections of fencing and three wooden posts.
Theft: An employee at Donnell Ford, 7955 Market St., reported eight dealer plates lost or stolen.
Theft: A Campbell man reported a steel safe, two handguns and two trigger locks stolen from his vehicle when it was parked at his former residence in the 4000 block of South Schenley Avenue.
Theft: Police arrested a woman, 19, and a girl, 17, both from Youngstown, on theft charges after $150 worth of items was stolen from Kohl's department store, 383 Boardman-Poland Road. The girl also was charged with underage possession of tobacco products.
Theft: Police arrested a 19-year-old Lowellville woman on a theft charge after a wristwatch was stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Arrest: Police arrested a 42-year-old Boardman woman on Midlothian Boulevard on a warrant from Broward County, Fla., charging her with possession of drugs. She also was charged with drug abuse.
May 23
Arrest: Police arrested a Niles woman, 33, at the Mahoning County Jail on charges of theft, receiving stolen property and forgery.
Theft: An employee at Boardman Center Middle School, 7410 Market St., reported a blank pistol and two boxes of blank cartridges stolen.
Theft: An employee at Buick Youngstown, 7997 Market St., discovered a dealer plate missing from a vehicle.
Theft: A woman in the 1800 block of Wingate Road reported two flower poles and a bag of flowers missing from her front yard.
Theft: A man in the 5400 block of Southern Boulevard reported an in-dash AM/FM compact-disc stereo and a leather coat missing from his vehicle.
Possible burglary: A woman in the 100 block of Shields Road reported damage to her storm-door lock and door frame.
Theft: A man reported his wallet stolen while he was in the 8600 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Theft: A Youngstown woman reported that her purse was stolen and her credit cards were used without permission at various Boardman businesses.
Theft: A woman was accused of stealing a curling iron from Sally Beauty Supply, 4300 Market St.
Auto theft: A 1993 Buick Century was stolen from the Boardman Plaza parking lot.
Theft: A 29-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with theft after $708 worth of miscellaneous clothing, shoes, purses and cologne was stolen from Kohl's. She also was charged with felony possession of drugs.
Theft: An employee at the Terrace Motel, 4972 Market St., alleged that a man in his 40s stole a TV from a room and failed to pay a $50 room charge.
Theft: A 17-year-old Youngstown boy was charged with theft and receiving stolen property after four clothing items were stolen from Abercrombie & amp; Fitch in the Southern Park Mall. Also, four pieces of clothing were stolen from Kaufmann's, and three shirts were taken from the J.C. Penney store.
Auto theft: An employee at Sapphire Auto Sales, 725 E. Midlothian Blvd., discovered a 1988 Cadillac DeVille Sedan missing from a parking lot.
May 24
Vandalism: A man in the 6400 block of Tara Drive discovered $80 worth of damage to his mailbox.
Criminal damage: A man reported that someone smashed his pickup truck's windshield in the 3900 block of South Schenley Avenue.
Theft: Police charged a Campbell woman, 32, and a Youngstown woman, 30, with theft after $292 worth of clothing was removed from Kohl's.
Theft: Police arrested two Boardman boys, both 17, on theft charges after four wheels and tires were stolen off a vehicle at Preston Hyundai, 260 Boardman-Poland Road.
Assault: A man in the 700 block of Mapleridge Drive alleged that a male teenager assaulted his son in the victim's front yard.
Arrest: A 21-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested on Market Street and charged with passing bad checks.
Theft: A male teenager was accused of stealing a CD from Target discount store.
Theft: Police charged a 20-year-old Ellwood City, Pa., man with theft after about $2,000 worth of DVD box sets and two pieces of luggage were stolen from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Theft, criminal damage: A woman reported her vehicle's driver's-side door window smashed and a CD player, cellular phone, 20 CDs and other items removed.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 5400 block of Southern Boulevard reported her rental car's paint damaged and dents on its trunk lid.
Theft: A woman reported $20 stolen from her purse while she was in an office in the 1300 block of Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A woman reported her cellular phone stolen while she shopped at Wal-Mart.
Theft: An employee at the Residence Inn, 7396 Tiffany Blvd., reported a 25-inch TV, a tool box and a TV remote control stolen from a maintenance room.
Vandalism: Someone tossed numerous eggs onto the outside of Wedgewood Fernando's Pizza, 6200 South Ave.
Theft: A man in the 4400 block of Southern Boulevard discovered an American flag and pole missing from the front of his residence.
POLAND
May 21
Drugs: After conducting a traffic stop on state Route 170, police cited a 34-year-old Lisbon man on a charge of marijuana possession. Officers say they found a suspected marijuana cigarette near his truck's center console.
May 24
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a vacant Shell gas station, 57 N. Main St., and removed nine buckets of paint, a sink, an air compressor, a gear oil pump and a grease fitting pump.
Vandalism: A man in the 100 block of Nesbitt Street noticed a set of tire tracks on his lawn.
May 25
Criminal damage: A man in the 2300 block of Edgewater Drive reported that his vehicle's windshield was smashed while he was at the Poland Municipal Forest on College Street.
