ULess than 9 percent of teens feel opening lines are important when meeting someone of the opposite sex.
UOnly 4 percent of teens believe that popularity impresses someone of the opposite sex.
UHaving the right clothes is important to teens when making a first impression, according to 40 percent surveyed.
UTwenty-two percent of teens surveyed said having a bad hair day is an important issue.
UOnly 9 percent thought wearing the right perfume or cologne was important.
UHaving a common hobby was important to 62 percent.
UAnd 35 percent said they were impressed by smarts.
UBad breath is an immediate turnoff for 71 percent, whereas bad skin and a terrible laugh garnered just 29 percent and 24 percent of this vote, respectively.
