SHARON Vocal Group Hall of Fame to announce '03 inductees



SHARON, Pa. -- The Vocal Group Hall of Fame will announce the induction of its Class of 2003 at noon Friday on the third floor of the Vocal Group Hall of Fame & amp; Museum, 98 E. State St.
Tony Butala of The Lettermen, a 2001 inductee himself and chairman and founder of the hall and museum, will make the announcement.
The museum will close at 6 p.m. Friday for an announcement party featuring the music of The Great Pretenders from 8-11 p.m.
The party will continue from 8-11 p.m. Saturday with music by Brass Taxi.
Doors will open for the party at 7 p.m. both nights.
Tickets for either Friday and Saturday event are $10 each and are available only at the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.

The Vocal Group Hall of Fame, founded in 1998, is dedicated to memorializing vocal group harmony.
The museum, which offers free admission, is open from 4-8 p.m. every Thursday and Friday and noon to 8 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.
