ODOT Road projects

Projects the Ohio Department of Transportation is working on this week in Mahoning and Trumbull counties:
MAHONING COUNTY
U.S. Route 224 bridge over Yellow Creek just east of state Route 170 in Poland, closed for replacement until further notice. Detour posted. Scheduled completion: late fall.
Interstate 76 bridge over Lake Milton, two lanes open in both directions, using crossovers to divert traffic to the new eastbound bridge while working on the closed westbound bridge. Completion: late fall 2003.Dearborn Street at Sarah Street, Youngstown, closed for culvert replacement until further notice.
U.S. Route 422 from Beck Street to the state Route 711 on-ramps, reduced to one lane each direction until further notice.
South Avenue, reduced to one lane in each direction between Western Reserve Road and Presidential Drive until further notice, for widening.
TRUMBULL COUNTY
Belmont Avenue from Colonial Drive to state Route 304, various daytime lane closures through fall 2003.
State Route 7 at state Route 7/82, various lane restrictions maintained by flaggers until further notice.
State Route 5 in Cortland, one lane of traffic open in each direction until late fall 2003. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers between South Mecca Street and West and East Main streets.
State Route 5 and state Route 82 bypass around Warren reduced to one lane in each direction until late fall. North Park Road between state Route 45 and Perkins Jones Road will have truck detour during bypass bridge work. Through traffic on North Park Road limited to one lane maintained with traffic lights.
State Route 45 in North Bloomfield Township reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction from Ashtabula County line to Peck Leach Road during daytime hours until summer.
State Route 45 bridge over Baughman Creek in North Bristol reduced to one lane, with traffic lights at either end of the bridge to alternate traffic flow, until summer.
State Route 46 Niles viaduct over Mahoning River reduced to one lane in each direction until late fall, with First Street closed at the bridge for the project's duration.
State Route 46 in Niles reduced to one lane in each direction between state Route 169 and U.S. Route 422 for road resurfacing until further notice.
Route 46 bridge north of North River Road closed for bridge work beginning Tuesday, till further notice. Completion: Fall.
U.S. Route 422 from Interstate 80 to the northern Girard city limits reduced to one lane in each direction for road-widening until further notice. Completion: late fall 2004.
State Route 11 at state Route 304 overpass reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge painting beginning Tuesday and until further notice.
Traffic reduced to one lane in each direction at state Routes 11 and 82 interchange until further notice, with traffic maintained on ramps, which will be reduced to half-width. This is to enable ramp resurfacing and light installation. Completion: late fall.
