AUSTINTOWN -- Mahoning County Council for Retarded Citizens is holding its annual giant garage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 7 at Leonard Kirtz School, 4791 Woodridge Drive.
All proceeds will benefit programs to assist children and adults with mental retardation of the Mahoning Valley, along with their families.
Donated items can be dropped off at the school from 4 to 8 p.m. June 5 and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 6.
Items that will be accepted include household and small appliances, housewares, tools, books, audio and video materials, toys and games. No large furniture or large appliances, or clothes or shoes will be accepted.
All donated items are tax-deductible. Receipts will be provided.
The Mahoning County Council for Retarded Citizens is a nonprofit, tax-exempt agency founded in 1955 to assist and further the goals of citizens with mental retardation and developmental disabilities.
