Youngstown Symphony Guild plans annual golf outing June 2
The fund-raiser will be used for educational outreach programs.
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Youngstown Symphony Guild will hold its eighth annual "Come Play 'Fore' the Symphony" golf outing and raffle June 2 at the Youngstown Country Club.
Registration will begin at 11 a.m. followed by a buffet lunch and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. for the two-best-balls event. The awards dinner will begin at 6:15.
A variety of prizes will be awarded, and there will be a chance to win a Ford Thunderbird for a hole-in-one.
Soft spikes are required, and teams are encouraged.
Entry fee is $150 and includes range, lockers, cart, golf, lunch, cocktails, dinner, awards and contests. Deadline is Monday, and information may be obtained by calling the Youngstown Symphony Center at (330) 744-4269.
Proceeds will benefit the symphony and its educational outreach programs.

Co-chairmen of the event are Richard Keyes and Trent Cailor, and serving on the committee are Mary Walton and Susan Huber, guild president and president-elect, respectively, along with Stephanie Hunter, Irene Loser, Deborah Liptak, Mary Kay Zockle, Millie Campean, Juanita Williams, Diane Newman, Phyllis Wilke, Jeanne Simeone, Susan Darris, Gwen Majernik and Vicky Pallota.
