League elects president
YOUNGSTOWN -- The League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown elected Patti Rudawsky of Poland as its president at the group's annual meeting at Park Vista Retirement Center.
Also elected were: Judy Passarelli of Poland as vice president, Mary B. Smith of Youngstown as vice president of programming, Susan Savastuk of Youngstown as secretary and Jane Beilby of Youngstown as treasurer.
Elected as members of the board of directors were Kathleen Dillon of Canfield, Eleanor Felder of Youngstown, V. Ann Harpman of Poland, Kathleen Johnson of Youngstown, Denise Knapik of Youngstown and Eloise Traina of Salem.
The nominating committee members elected were Chairwoman Mary Rita Carney of Boardman, Pat Reeder of Poland and Anne Speck of Poland.
Taking nominations
COLUMBUS -- The Ohio State Bar Foundation is accepting nominations through Aug. 1 for its 2003 statewide awards.
Any citizen can nominate attorneys, judges and others involved in law-related organizations for the various award categories.
