AUXILIARIES
XDistrict 8 Auxiliary will meet June 1 at VFW Post 4192, 3889 Main St., Mineral Ridge. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. with registration from 7:30 to noon and the meeting from 10 a.m. to noon. Nomination and election of officers for 2003-04 and the installation will follow.
CLASSES
XChaney High School Class of 1942 Alumni will meet at 10:30 a.m. June 2 at Gatsby's on Westchester Drive in Austintown.
All classmates and their spouses are welcome.
CLUBS
XTri-County Chapter of Medical Assistants will hold an installation ceremony June 6 at the Holiday Inn, Boardman. The social hour begins at 6:30, followed by dinner at 7, installation of officers, the recognition of new members and the presentation of a scholarship award. Reservations are to be made with Kathy Lynn Feld, (330) 941-1760. Guests are welcome.
XYoungstown After-5 Club will hold a "Here's Looking at You" dinner from 6:30 to 8 p.m. June 9 at Lockwood House in Boardman. The program will be by Christine Bassett, Peggy McDonough and Kelly Bukovac. Dinner and child-care reservations must be made by June 1 by calling (330) 799-0679.
RELIGIOUS GROUPS
XDiocesan Infant Jesus of Prague Guild will celebrate its 56th anniversary with a Mass of thanksgiving and brunch June 11 at St. Christine Church. Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m., Mass at 10 and brunch afterward at Gutman Hall. The cost is $11. Reservations are required by May 31.
XHoly Name of Jesus Ladies Guild will meet at noon June 3 in the church social hall for a meeting and catered picnic.
SINGLES
XA meeting of the Original Christian Singles will be held at 6 p.m. June 2 at Glenwood Methodist Church in Boardman. Entertainment will be provided, and members are asked to take casseroles. For more information on events or membership call (330) 533-3938, (330) 726-3315 or (330) 755-4680.
