Miss Arrington, Mr. Benson set wedding date

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Arrington Jr. of Youngstown are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sherri & aacute; M. Arrington, and Darrell Benson, a son of Cora A. Benson and Darrell Johnson, all of Youngstown.
The bride-elect attended Youngstown State University and is an assembler at General Motors Corp. in Lordstown.
The future groom received a certificate from the UAW-GM Center for Human Resources Health and Safety Center in Auburn Hills, Mich., and graduated from the Western Reserve Institute Police Academy in Boardman. He is a part-time police officer with the Youngstown State University Police Department.
The couple will be married at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 23 at Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church. Invitations will be extended for the ceremony and also for an evening reception at The Embassy.
