Niles council approved the following legislation Wednesday:
An ordinance banning the shooting of paint balls within the city limits. The legislation, introduced earlier this month, was drafted after several residents reported problems with paint balls hitting their homes and vehicles.
Transfer of $255,000 from the sewer fund to the contracted services account of the sewer fund. The money will pay for a study by the Montgomery Watson Engineering firm to investigate the condition of the interceptor sewers and to map the sanitary sewer system.
