YOUNGSTOWN Zoning appeals board

The city zoning appeals board approved this item Tuesday:
Reduced the rear yard setback from 25 feet to 2 feet for John Bosela to construct a storage building at Market Street and Avondale Avenue. No site plan with specific details for the building's use has been given to the board.
The board deferred these items until its next meeting:
Reducing the rear yard setback from 25 feet to 16 feet for an addition to the Needle's Eye building at 74 Kenmore Ave. The appeal was deferred because of improper identification of the property in question.
Reducing the front setback from 35 feet to 15 feet for CHOICE Homes to build a single-family home at 1378 Grandview St. The appeal was deferred because of concerns over vacating a nearby alley.
