Prayer service to markdisappearance anniversary
TRANSFER, Pa. -- It's been three years since Sandra Baker disappeared.
Although state police believe that Baker, now 49, met with foul play, neither she nor the car she was driving when she disappeared have ever been found.
Linda Henry of Greenville hasn't given up her efforts to find her friend and will have a memorial prayer dedication service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Kidds Mill Covered Bridge on Reynolds Industrial Park Road.
The date coincides with the third anniversary of Baker's disappearance, and Henry said a bench in Kidds Mill Covered Bridge Park will be dedicated in her friend's memory. The bridge site is one of Baker's favorite places, Henry said.
Baker was last seen at a convenience store on Pa. Route 18 in Transfer.
Rewards for information on her whereabouts now stand at $7,000.
