Ohio Rocks 'n' Reads during Summer Reading, June 2 - August 16, at the Library. Mahoning County's public libraries will combine the Ohio bicentennial celebration with summer fun programs for children, teens and adults. All programs are free and open to the public.
"Wild About Ohio." Find out why we should be Ohio proud for children of all ages at 2 p.m. June 23 at Greenford; 11 a.m. June 18 at Lowellville; 10 a.m. June 17 at Main Library; 2 p.m. June 17 at New Middletown; 11:30 a.m. June 24 at North Lima; 10 a.m. June 14 at Poland; 10 a.m. June 26 at Sebring; and 3 p.m. June 18 at West.
"Wild About Ohio." Harry Potter's hunt through an Ohio Library -- a scavenger hunt and more for school-age children at 2 p.m. June 17 at Austintown.
"Wild About Ohio." Stories, games and barn-raising fun for children of all ages at 2 p.m. June 17 at Boardman. Refreshments will be served.
"Wild About Ohio." Stories, craft, and games. Help the Library make a Bicentennial Scrapbook throughout the summer for children of all ages at 10 a.m. June 10 at Brownlee Woods; June 18 at Campbell; and June 19 at Struthers.

"Wild About Ohio with Tom Phoolery Productions." Presenting the Harry Potter Magic Workshop for school-age children at 1 p.m. June 25 at Canfield and 3 p.m. June 25 at Poland.
"Old Time Ohio." Listen to stories, make a craft, and play games from the "olden" days of Ohio for children of all ages at 10 a.m. June 27 at Brownlee Woods; June 25 at Campbell; and June 26 at Struthers.
"Made in Ohio." Crafts to celebrate the bicentennial for Preschool and Kindergarten children at 10 a.m. and for grades 1-6, at 2 p.m. June 24 at Main.
"Ohio Crafts: Make, Take & amp; Decorate." For children of all ages at 2 p.m. June 18 at Lake Milton and June 24 at North Jackson.
"Haunted Ohio." Stories, games, and a craft that will show you Ohio's haunted side. For the family and kids of all ages (under 6 must be accompanied by an adult) at 6:30 p.m. June 23 at North and June 25 at South..
"The Adventures of... Captain Underpants, Superhero." Stories, craft and games for children of all ages at 2 p.m. June 26 at Austintown.
"Be a Shining Star." Seeking: individual and group acts for our 4th Annual Talent Show. A family program with prizes for all participants at 7 p.m. June 23 at Boardman. Refreshments will be served.
"Come and Join the Fun." Stories and fun for ages 3-6 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. June 4, 11, 18 and 25 at Boardman; and June 5 at Poland.
"Tales for Toddlers." Stories, songs and more about fathers for ages 2-3 at 10 a.m. June 10 at Main. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.
"Time for Babies and Books." Books, songs, rhymes and more at 9:30 a.m. (for 6-12 months) and 10:30 a.m. (for 13-23 months) June 5 at Boardman. Each baby in attendance must be accompanied by an adult.
"The Garbage Monster by Joni Sensel." Presented by Peg Flynn and Kim Lewis of the Recycling Division of Mahoning County. Story and craft for children at 2 p.m. June 25 at Austintown; 10 a.m. June 20 at Boardman; 2 p.m. June 24 at Campbell; 2 p.m. June 19 at New Middletown; 2 p.m. June 26 at Poland; and 2 p.m. June 12 at Struthers.
"Teen Olympics." "Adult Summer Reading." Adult "Ohio Rocks 'n' Reads" program will offer a coupon for free coffee at Chapters Caf & eacute; for the first five books read and a chance for adults reading their first 10 books to be entered into a drawing to win Scrappers tickets from June 2 to Aug. 16.
"Friends of the Library Meetings" are scheduled at 10 a.m. June 16 at Austintown; 10 a.m. June 14 at East; 5:30 p.m. June 9 at Main; and at 2 p.m. June 4 at Struthers.
"Council of Friends Meeting" will be held at 10 a.m. June 20 at Main.
