BOARDMAN
May 12
Breaking and entering, theft: A man in the 6800 block of Lockwood Boulevard reported his vehicle broken into and an in-dash compact-disc player taken. Another man reported his in-dash car stereo removed.
Criminal damage, theft: A woman reported her vehicle's passenger-side door and window molding damaged in the 6800 block of Lockwood Boulevard. An in-dash CD player, 25 CDs, $200, an Ohio operator's license and a Social Security card were stolen. Also, a woman reported her vehicle's dashboard damaged.
Truck theft: A 1991 Chevrolet truck was stolen from the Residence Inn parking lot, 7396 Tiffany Blvd.
Theft, criminal damage: A car had its rear passenger-side vent window damaged in the 6800 block of Lockwood Boulevard. Also, a man reported a CD case with 150 CDs, a visor CD case with 10 CDs and a CD player's face plate removed from a vehicle.
Attempted auto theft: Someone tried to steal a 1988 Olds Cutlass Supreme from a driveway in the 4600 block of South Avenue.
Theft: A man reported an in-dash CD stereo and a CD changer stolen from his vehicle in the 200 block of Boardman-Poland Road.
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 7100 block of Locust Avenue reported that someone placed a tag containing an obscenity on the doorbell to her apartment.
Theft: A man reported a wheeled trash container missing from his residence in the 4000 block of Hillman Way.
Theft, breaking and entering: A man in the 7400 block of South Avenue discovered his shed broken into and a $4,400 lawn mower and a pressure washer taken.
Theft: Someone stole T-shirts and other merchandise from Dillard's department store in the Southern Park Mall.
Auto theft: A 2002 Cadillac Seville was stolen from the Big Lots parking lot, 7110 South Ave.
Breaking and entering: An employee at Market Motor Co., 7871 Market St., reported a customer's car broken into and a DVD player, four woofers and other items removed.
Theft, assault: An employee at Kaufmann's department store in the Southern Park Mall reported that someone stole a shirt and tried to run over a security guard.
Vandalism: A man in the 4900 block of Tippecanoe Road reported 12 eggs tossed against his residence and tire tracks in his front lawn.
Arrest: After a traffic stop on Market Street, a 16-year-old Poland boy was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, drug possession and tobacco possession.
May 13
Arrest: A 38-year-old Boardman woman was charged with receiving stolen property.
Theft: A man in the 8000 block of Paulin Drive said a $3,000 men's gold ring is missing from his residence.
Theft: Someone stole a charcoal grill from a residence in the 200 block of Afton Avenue.
Theft: A Youngstown man discovered $40 missing from his room at the Microtel Inn, 7393 South Ave.
Theft: An employee at Family Christian Store, 6020 Market St., reported that someone used a trash container behind the business without authorization.
Theft: Someone stole two paint-ball guns from Dick's Clothing & amp; Sporting Goods, 1280 Doral Drive.
Theft: Police arrested a 25-year-old Campbell woman on a theft charge after makeup items were stolen from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Theft: A 16-year-old Poland boy was charged with theft after a Boardman woman reported her purse stolen in the Southern Park Mall parking lot.
Theft: Police arrested a 36-year-old Youngstown woman on a theft charge after $194 worth of men's clothing was stolen from Kohl's department store, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A 41-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with theft after miscellaneous clothing was stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall. She also was charged with failure to appear in court.
Identity theft: An employee at Family Video, 5205 Market St., reported being a victim of identity theft.
Criminal damage: Someone broke into a vehicle in the 7000 block of West Boulevard and caused an undetermined amount of damage.
Theft: Someone broke into a doctor's office in the 6900 block of Market Street and removed a signature stamp.
Auto theft: A 1990 Buick Electra was stolen from a parking lot in the 3900 block of Sunset Boulevard.
Theft: A North Lima woman reported her car keys stolen from a locker at Astre Total Fitness and Rehabilitation Center, 374 Boardman-Poland Road. Numerous credit cards, $10 and an undetermined number of CDs were removed from her vehicle.
May 14
Arrest: A 21-year-old Youngstown man was charged with receiving stolen property, fleeing and eluding a police officer, failure to comply with the orders of a police officer and possession of criminal tools after a Lake Milton man reported his 1985 GMC Suburban missing.
Criminal damage: A man discovered his vehicle's passenger-side window pane damaged while the car was in a carport in the 500 block of Boardman-Canfield Road.
Auto theft: A man reported his 1988 Chevrolet Caprice Classic stolen from in front of his Basil Avenue residence.
Theft: A Youngstown man alleged a woman, 37, stole $300 from his bank account.
Vandalism: A woman in the 8000 block of Sigle Lane found tire marks in her front lawn.
Theft: A woman in her 20s stole two mechanical tool sets from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A 15-year-old Youngstown girl was charged with theft after a top and a dress were stolen from Kohl's.
Arrest: Police arrested a 72-year-old Youngstown man at Target discount store, 417 Boardman-Poland Road, on a criminal trespassing charge.
Assault: A Youngstown woman reported being assaulted during an argument at the Ice Zone, 360 McClurg Road.
Theft: About $7,800 worth of link bracelets was stolen from a display case at a Hallmark Cards store in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Someone stole a case containing about 20 CDs, a shirt, a pair of shorts and a brown necklace from a car parked in the 7000 block of Tiffany Boulevard.
Assault: A Youngstown man reported that two men assaulted him in the Taco Bell parking lot, 458 Boardman-Canfield Road. He had a swollen right eyebrow and minor cuts.
Criminal damage, theft: A vehicle's passenger-side window was broken and two trombones, a portable CD player, 50 CDs, a cellular phone and a leather bag containing two trombone mutes were removed while the car was parked at the Ground Round, 7463 South Ave.
Domestic violence: A 32-year-old Glenwood Avenue man was charged with domestic violence after his girlfriend alleged he assaulted her at their residence.
Theft: An employee at Chi-Chi's Mexican Restaurant, 1320 Boardman-Poland Road, discovered $205 missing from a cash drawer in an office.
May 15
Theft: Two cartons of cigarettes were taken from a Speedway gas station, 649 E. Midlothian Blvd.
Criminal damage: A man in the 8500 block of Hickory Hill Drive discovered $200 worth of damage to his mailbox.
Theft: An employee at Color Car Auto Body Supply, 8075 Market St., discovered $900 missing.
Theft: A woman in the 300 block of Erskine Avenue reported a temporary registration tag removed from her vehicle.
Arrests: After eight miscellaneous items were stolen from Sears, a Youngstown man, 31, was charged with complicity to theft and another Youngstown man, 27, was charged with theft. A Youngstown woman, 38, was charged with failure to appear in court to face a theft charge and was wanted on a warrant charging her with receiving stolen property.
Assault: A Campbell man alleged that a 15-year-old boy assaulted his daughter while she was at a residence in the 200 block of Forest Park Drive.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 40 block of Ferncliff Avenue reported her mulched flower garden damaged.
Theft: A man in his 30s stole 50 to 70 packs of cigarettes from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A woman reported a purse, $200, a cellular phone and a Youngstown State University identification card stolen from her vehicle parked at the Judy Conti Dance Studio, 1393 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A man removed two cartons of cigarettes from a Speedway gas station, 5110 Youngstown-Poland Road.
Assaults: A Warren woman and a Newton Falls man reported being assaulted in the Camelot Lanes parking lot, 628 Boardman-Canfield Road. The man had a possibly dislocated right shoulder, and the woman had bruises on her left wrist.
May 16
Arrest: A 45-year-old New Castle, Pa., man was charged with menacing after a McClurg Road man said his life was threatened.
Arrest: A 43-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with failure to appear in court to answer a theft charge and with drug possession.
Theft: Police arrested a 23-year-old Struthers man on a theft charge after two gift sets were stolen from Kaufmann's.
Assault: A woman in the 7400 block of West Boulevard reported that her daughter was assaulted at Boardman High School, 7777 Glenwood Ave.
Criminal damage: A vehicle's rear window was broken in the 7200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
Auto theft: An employee at Greenwood Market Motor Co., 7871 Market St., reported a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS stolen.
Arrest: A 16-year-old Boardman girl was charged with being a runaway juvenile and with a probation violation.
Theft: Police arrested three Youngstown girls, two age 15 and one age 14, on theft charges after four pairs of shorts, four pairs of undergarments and a T-shirt were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Arrest: An 18-year-old New Castle, Pa., man was arrested at the Southern Park Mall on charges of passing bad checks.
Assault: A woman in the 4100 block of South Avenue alleged that a 33-year-old man assaulted her at her residence during a domestic situation.
Assault: A man reported that his son was assaulted while the victim was at the Tot Spot, 590 E. Western Reserve Road.
Criminal damage: A man in the 300 block of Mathews Road reported his vehicle's rear hatch window broken.
Assault: A man reported that his son, 13, was assaulted on a school bus near Hillman Way. The boy had scratches and bruises on his head and back.
May 17
Theft: Police charged a 41-year-old Youngstown woman with theft after a pair of women's jeans and a purse were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Theft: A woman in the 5300 block of Jeanne Lynn Street discovered 15 hanging flower baskets and six posts missing from her front yard.
Theft: A 24-year-old Youngstown man was charged with theft after a box of condoms was stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Arrest: Police arrested a 29-year-old Youngstown man on Market Street on a warrant charging him with domestic violence. He also was charged with drug possession.
Theft: Someone left the Great China Buffet, 463 Boardman-Poland Road, without paying a $49.85 food bill.
Theft: Someone broke into a vehicle in the 6100 block of South Avenue and took an in-dash car stereo and CD player.
Criminal damage: A man in the 6800 block of Tanglewood Drive discovered that his mailbox was struck by an unknown object.
Truck theft: A 2000 Jeep Cherokee was stolen from the Southern Park Mall parking lot.

May 14
Criminal damage: A woman in the 10 block of Massachusetts Avenue alleged a Youngstown woman struck her vehicle's driver-side door with a crowbar, denting it.
May 15
Theft: A cellular phone and planner containing various credit cards were removed from a vehicle in the 10 block of Lee Drive.
Attempted breaking and entering: An employee at Yellow Creek Deli, 58 W. McKinley Way, reported that someone forced open a door.
May 16
Theft: A woman in the 10 block of Second Street reported a wallet, checkbook, CD player, 18 to 24 CDs, $20, a prescription and several credit cards stolen from her vehicle. Also, a man reported various textbooks, change and band music removed from his car.
Auto theft: A 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera was stolen from a driveway in the 10 block of Delaware Avenue.
