LEADERS St. Michael Guild inducts slate of new officers

CANFIELD -- Doris Neel was inducted as president of St. Michael Altar Guild of St. Michael Church, during a candlelight ceremony May 5 at the church.
Also installed as officers for 2003-2004 were Elaine Boomhower, first vice president; Marilyn Fisher, second vice president; Thelma Wertz, secretary; Rita Bova, treasurer; and Pauline Weldon, board chairman.
Named as heads of various committees were: Jerry Less, social; Ruth Molvin, publicity chairman; Peg Davis, publicity co-chairman; Elizabeth Rehlinger, historian; Edith Brown, telephone; Mary Ann Silvestri, flowers; Mary Ann Pavalko, membership; Pat DeRosa, ways and means; and Helen Paros, lector.
Tom Soich, permanent deacon, conducted the installation ceremony and gave the benediction. Assisting with the ceremony were Alvira Schultheis, Elaine Terreri and Helen Paros. Afterward Mrs. Weldon presided for business, and a dinner was served.
