Huber-Rakocy wedding to be held in Gahanna

XPOLAND -- Robert and Marilyn Rakocy of Poland are announcing the engagement of their son, Douglas Robert Rakocy, and Julie Ann Huber, a daughter of Jim and Hope Huber, all of New Albany, and Carol Hieber of Powell.
The bride-elect graduated from Miami University in Oxford with a bachelor's degree and is a senior financial analyst with The Limited Brands in Columbus.
Her fiance attended the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., for two years and graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree. He earned a master's degree in computer science at Franklin University in Columbus and is a systems service manager with Perdue Farms in Salisbury, Md.
The couple have planned a wedding that will take place July 5 at Peace Lutheran Church in Gahanna.
