Seven candidates are seeking five seats on the Laurel school board. The term is for four years. The district consists of Hickory, Scott and Slippery Rock townships. Only Christopher Donegan, who filed on both the Democratic and Republican ballots, responded to a Vindicator request for a candidate r & eacute;sum & eacute;. Other candidates are Democrats Dennis McCurdy and Emelie McFarland; and Earl Williams, incumbent Tim Redfoot, Michael Zubasic and incumbent Todd Fennick, who all cross-filed on both ballots.

Priority: To continue the work of running the finest public education facility in Lawrence County and perhaps all of Pennsylvania, while at the same time keeping the burden to the taxpayers low.
