CLEVELAND -- Guitarist Bret Michaels of the rock band Poison will donate one of his instruments to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum at 3 p.m. May 31. Afterward, for one hour, Michaels also will autograph copies of his solo CD, "Songs of Life," for anyone who buys them at FYE stores and brings them along with register receipts to the rock hall. The CD will be available beginning Tuesday. Poison, Vince Neil and Skid Row will perform May 31 at Blossom Music Center.
Dulci-More Festival
LISBON -- Musicians from Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, Indiana and Pennsylvania will gather next weekend at Dulci-More Festival 9, an annual folk and traditional music event at Boy Scouts of America Camp McKinley, 37748 Furnace Road. Friday's events will include contra dance lessons at 7:30 and a dance from 8 to 10:30 p.m. A concert at 7 p.m. Saturday will be by mountain dulcimer and Celtic harp player Lorinda Jones of Rineyville, Ky.; Armor & amp; Sturtevant from Erie, Pa.; and multi-instrumentalist Bob Zentz from Norfolk, Va. Another concert, at 7 p.m. next Sunday, will feature The Valley Mountain Boys, among others.

Pageant to honorsoldiers, families, vets
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Scottish Rite Cathedral, 110 E. Lincoln Ave., will be the setting at 7 p.m. May 30 for a One Nation Under God Pageant honoring soldiers, families and veterans.
The program is free to the public and will include a narration documenting the history of 36 different flags that have been flown from Colonial days to the present. As the flags are displayed, the Consistory Choir will provide a musical background and costumed men will portray such historical figures as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.
Copeland Classic featuresclassic automobiles
SEBRING -- The Copeland Classic IV is part of the 40th anniversary celebration to be held at Copeland Oaks, 800 S. 15th St., from noon to 3 p.m. June 7.
Featured will be classic vehicles, entertainment by the Goodyear Singers and Laurel and Hardy, and concessions.
Vehicle registration is from 10 a.m. to noon on Kearns Circle and a parade will begin at noon. Prizes will be awarded for vehicles in various categories. A model T will be available for free rides around the campus. Rain date is June 8.
Photography show entriesare due next Sunday
STRUTHERS -- Young shutterbugs, nature photographers and local history buffs may enter an amateur photography show by Struthers Historical Society that will coincide with Struthers Day on July 6 at Mauthe Park. Photographs will be divided into various categories: ages 18 and under, Struthers scenes, gardens and flora, pets and wildlife, and historical shots. Entry fee is $2 per photo. Entry forms with rules will be available at the historical society museum from 1 to 2 p.m. next Sunday. Entries must be dropped off at the historical society, 50 Terrace St., on June 8.
Music season schedulefrom Warren organization
WARREN -- The Broadway musical "Singin' in the Rain," now featuring choreography by Twyla Tharp and a rain-making machine, will launch Warren Civic Music Association's 63rd season Oct. 8.
The series also will feature Independence Jazz Reunion on Nov. 3; a holiday concert by Quartetto Gelato on Dec. 4; Rhythm in Shoes, a traditional American dance and music group from Dayton, on Feb. 7; the 1940s musical revue "In the Mood," March 22; and Triple Gold, featuring Jim Yester of The Association, Bruce Belland of The Four Preps and David Somerville of The Diamonds, on April 29.
