AUSTINTOWN -- About $200,000 for local conservation and brownfield cleanup programs is available through the Clean Ohio Conservation Fund.
Local governments, parks, conservation districts and nonprofit organizations can apply for the money. The application deadline is June 20.

Groups can volunteerto beautify Struthers
STRUTHERS -- Organizations seeking community service projects, clubs and individuals interested in beautifying the city can volunteer to maintain various public sites by planting flowers, shrubs and clearing debris.

In an effort to enhance the city's appeal, city officials also ask that home and business owners clear sidewalks bordering their properties of weeds and debris.
