Six candidates are vying for five positions on the Sharon City School Board and all but one, Democrat Kathy Hall, an incumbent, have "cross-filed" in Tuesday's primary seeking nominations in both the Republican and Democrat parties.
Incumbents Dominick A. Russo and Richard M. Mancino as well as candidates Chris Gavin and Dan Gill didn't respond to The Vindicator's request for a candidate's resume'.

Age: 62.

Employment: Retired Sharon school principal.
Education: Graduate of Penn Hills High School; Bachelor's degree in health, physical education and recreation from Slippery Rock State University; Master's degree in guidance counseling from Slippery Rock; Educational Administration Certificate from Youngstown State University; Additional graduate work at Westminster College and the University of Pittsburgh.
Family: Single.
Priority: Plan for long-term financial growth so that resources are always available to support student learning; Work for the best interest of all students, staff and citizens.
KATHY J. HALL*
Age: 53.
Home: 544 Wengler Ave.
Employment: Insurance processor for All-American Abstract Co.
Education: Graduate of Sharon High School; completed real estate courses at Penn State Shenango.
Family: Husband, Tom, three sons and three daughters.
Priority: Continue the existing teamwork approach to dealing with issues; Focus on student achievement and what is necessary to help students reach their goals.
