Four Democrats and three Republicans are vying for three nominations in each party to the post of city commissioner in Tuesday's primary. Republican incumbent Joseph Augustine didn't respond to The Vindicator's request for a candidate resume. * denotes incumbent.

DUANE J. PICCIRILLI
Age: 47.

Employment: Executive director of Help Hotline Crisis Center Inc. in Youngstown.
Education: Graduate of Sharpsville High School; Bachelor's degree in social welfare from Pennsylvania State University; Master's degree in counseling from Slippery Rock State University.
Family: Wife, Maria, a daughter and a son.
Priority: More active community involvement on city commissions and boards; development of a Hermitage center city model providing a focal point for the city.
TIMOTHY J. RUFFO
Age: 42.
Home: 1326 Wakefield Drive.
Employment: Maintenance manager.
Education: Graduate of Hickory High School; Associate degree from Pennsylvania State University.
Family: Three sons.
Priority: To secure a future in Hermitage for my children's generation by making sure there are job opportunities; develop the area around the Hermitage Post Office into open air markets and cafes with specialty shops to serve as a hub in the city.
