YOUNGSTOWN -- Coach John Robic will hold two four-day boys basketball camps this summer.
The first camp is slated for June 9-12 and the second is June 16-19. Cost is $75 per session and campers can sign up for both sessions. The camp is set up for ages 6-18. Registration deadline is May 30.

Women's hoops
YOUNGSTOWN -- An overnight women's team basketball camp will be held June 13-15 and an individual day camp June 16-19. The cost of the team camp is $170 for resident campers and $115 for commuter campers. The day camp, which runs from 1-4:30 p.m. is for ages 8-17 and costs $80.

TCL meet postponed
EAST PALESTINE -- After a two-hour delay, caused by lightning and rain, Thursday's Tri-County League track and field meet at East Palestine High stadium was postponed and will be held Saturday at 9 a.m.
Malie to Allegheny
YOUNGSTOWN -- Cardinal Mooney High senior running back Patsy Malie will continue his football career at Allegheny College.
The 5-foot-8, 180-pound Malie is a two-time Steel Valley Conference selection and was honorable mention on last season's Division IV Northeast Inland District team.
Bob Brennersigns with Kent
CANFIELD -- Canfield High senior wrestler Bob Brenner signed a national letter of intent Thursday to continue his career at Kent State University. Brenner plans to study conservation and biology.
YWBA citytournament
YOUNGSTOWN -- Theresa Florjancic's 269 took over as high game in the team actual category of the Youngstown Women's Bowling Association's city tournament.
Marla Chicase's 258 became high game among doubles entrants while Bonita Moore is the new singles leader with 690.
Haefke continues as the singles actual leader with 655 and the all-events leader with 2,025.
In the YWBA's accompanying 9-pin, no-tap tournament, Doughton's Gals, with 2,558, is now the leading team in the 461 average-and-up class.

CANTON -- Two Miami Dolphins Hall of Famers, Larry Csonka and Don Shula, will give free autographs at the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Best of Yesterday and Today series Saturday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. For details on the event call (330) 456-8207.
Aeros win 4-1
WEST HAVEN, Conn. -- Eric Crozier's three-run homer capped a four-run second inning as the Akron Aeros beat the New Haven Ravens 4-1 Thursday night in the Eastern League.
Corey Smith had an RBI double in the inning for Akron (23-17), which remained in first place in the Southern Division.
Big Ten considersexpansion to 12
CHICAGO -- With expansion plans looming in the Atlantic Coast Conference, Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany said it's time for the league to revisit adding a 12th member to the 11-team conference.
Delany said expansion would be one of several items discussed during the Big Ten's annual meetings held Thursday through Saturday.
