CLUBS
XOhio Cultural Alliance will hold its final meeting of the season at 5:30 p.m. June 2 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown. The speaker will be Harry Meshel. Cultural enrichment will be provided by Al Bright, artist, who will create a painting to jazz music from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The finished art work will be sold during a silent auction. An all-American meal will be served. The cost for the evening is $11 for paid-up members and $16 for nonmembers. Paid reservations are required by May 28. XYoungstown Business and Professional Women will meet at 5:30 p.m. May 27 at the Poland branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, 311 S. Main Street, Poland. SOCIETIES
XThe 45th anniversary of the Hammond Organ Society will be observed during a meeting to be held at 5 p.m. May 23 at Lucianno's Restaurant on Raccoon Road, Austintown. Members may order their Dutch treat meals from the menu. Afterward they will go to Grace Lutheran Church for dessert and entertainment.
XMahoning Valley Archaeological Society will meet at 6 p.m. May 25 in the Community Center at Boardman Township Park, state Route 224, Boardman. The guest speaker will be Bill Lawson, director of Mahoning Valley Historical Society, who will explain how the society works with archaeologists. Artifacts will be on display and sold.
