Poetry forum with Nyechanges its date
EAST LIVERPOOL -- The Westgate Culture Club's poetry forum has been moved from Tuesday to May 27 at 8 p.m.
The forum, which will feature the works of award-winning Arab-American author Naomi Shihab Nye, will be held at East Liverpool's Westgate Library.
An open forum will precede the reading and discussion of Nye's poetry. Local authors are encouraged to read their original poems. All participants must schedule in advance; the forum is free to the public. For more information, e-mail mrc_21@yahoo.com or call (330) 386-8765.
