Big Lots opens storein Champion Hills Plaza
CHAMPION -- Big Lots has opened a 41,000 square foot store at 4331 Mahoning Avenue N.W. in the Champion Hills Plaza. The store includes a furniture department, along with the closeout retailer's usual selection of clothing, cosmetics, housewares, toys and gifts. Based in Columbus, Big Lots has 1,350 stores in 45 states.
Seminar to boost useof minority vendors
YOUNGSTOWN -- "Jump Starting Minority Business in the Mahoning Valley!," a seminar to inform local businesses on the importance of using minority vendors, is set for 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 22 at Youngstown State University's Kilcawley Center.
