Tips for helping encourage boys to read:
Men: Interrupt your busy schedule, and read with your boys. Be a role model. Form a father-son or parent-son book club.Booksellers: Have male staff members highlight their favorite titles in a "Guys Read" display.Teachers and librarians: Look at your required reading lists and ask, how many of the books would appeal to you if you were a boy?Everyone: Let boys know that nonfiction reading is reading, including magazines, Web sites, biographies, science books, comic books and adventure novels.
