MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The series finale between Youngstown State and UW-Milwaukee was canceled due to persistent rains and wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour.
The Penguins (24-25, 12-11 Horizon League) travel to Toledo Wednesday for a game at 3 p.m.

Purdy clears 6-6
AKRON -- Thiel College junior Richard Purdy, a Jackson-Milton High graduate, finished seventh with a height of 6 feet, 6 inches, in the men's high jump at the Campbell/Wright Open Saturday at the Lee Jackson Track and Field Complex.
Henry Patterson (unattached) won the event with a height of 7-4.
Purdy will compete at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Outdoor Track & amp; Field Championships Thursday and Friday at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston.
OAC honors DeSalvo
TWINSBURG -- Marietta College senior pitcer Matt DeSalvo (New Castle Union) was named the Kent Tekulve Ohio Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year.
On May 3, DeSalvo recorded his 52nd career victory, setting the NCAA all-division record, surpassing Don Heinkel of Wichita State.
Saturday, Desalvo became the NCAA all-divisions record holder in career strikeouts with 603.
The award is named after 1969 Marietta graduate Kent Tekulve, who spent 21 seasons playing profession baseball, including 17 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Buick Scrambleat Copeland Hills
COLUMBIANA -- The Buick Scramble, celebrating its 20th season, is scheduled to conduct a local championship at Copeland Hills Golf Course on Saturday.
The four person scramble with certified USGA handicap indexes, will send two winning team to the Sectional Championships in August. The national event is set for Oct. 8-12 in Orlando, Fla.

Aeros win 6-5
AKRON -- Maicer Izturis hit a three-run triple in Akron's five-run seventh inning as the Aeros beat the Norwich Navigators 6-5 Sunday in an Eastern League game.
The Aeros also scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Grady Sizemore and a bases-loaded walk.
Akron added a run on a bases-loaded wild pitch in the eighth.
Kyle Evans (2-0), who pitched a scoreless seventh, got the win. R.D. Spiehs (0-2), who took the loss, walked two of the four batters he faced and gave up two runs without giving up a hit.
Norwich scored twice on wild pitches in the ninth and also scored in the ninth on John Pachot's RBI single and Michael Cervenak's sacrifice fly.

Celtics' Walkerfaces investigation
BOSTON -- Celtics forward Antoine Walker is facing investigations by the NBA and the Boston police after an argument with a fan at the end of Game 3 against New Jersey.
NBA spokesman Mark Broussard confirmed Sunday that the league is investigating. A decision on discipline usually comes before the player's next game, which is scheduled for Monday night.
Boston police spokesman John Boyle said Sunday that a 43-year-old man filed a police report Friday night in which he claimed that Walker poked him in the face several times. The report has been referred to detectives for further investigation. Department policy prohibits the identification of the victim.
According to the police report, Walker's comments after the game and an Associated Press reporter who witnessed much of the altercation, Walker grew irritated after years of heckling by the fan from his seat behind the Celtics bench.
Spectators killed
MORRIS, Pa. -- Two spectators at a road rally were killed when a driver lost control and his car left the course.
The victims were identified as Martin Reidy, 35, and Peter Smith, 27, both of Yonkers, N.Y.
