CANFIELD
May 5
Drug paraphernalia/weapons: Police cited a 17-year-old New Springfield girl with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a weapon and referred her to the Mahoning County Juvenile Court. Police found a brass pipe with a blue base, a black pipe and bowl and a plastic straw with a burnt end with suspected marijuana residue on it, along with a stainless steel butterfly knife in her vehicle in the school parking lot at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.
May 7
Possession of deadly weapon: An 18-year-old Columbiana student at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center was arrested on a charge of possession of a deadly weapon at school, after the student asked police to help open his pickup truck after he locked his keys inside. Police found a silver Smith and Wesson lock blade.
May 9
Shoplifting: An 18-year-old Canfield man was arrested on charges of shoplifting four packs of cigarettes valued at $15.99 at Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St.
Alcohol and drug abuse: A silver bowl with suspected marijuana residue in it, a pack of rolling papers and a plastic bag with .16 ounce of suspected marijuana were found in a vehicle and a 17-year-old Youngstown male was arrested for possession of drug abuse and paraphernalia. A 16-year-old Boardman passenger was charged with being a delinquent child for possession of alcohol under 21.

May 5
Theft: A citizens band radio was stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of Victoria Road.
Receiving stolen property: A summons was issued for a man receiving stolen property at the Shell gas station, 4200 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Jewelry was reported taken from a residence in the 2000 block of Amberly Avenue.
Theft: A total of $163 in drinks was stolen from The Babylon, 114 Javit Court.
May 6
Vehicle theft: A 1999 Ford F-250 pickup truck was stolen from the 1000 block of Canfield-Niles Road.
Auto theft: A 1989 Oldsmobile Delta 88 was stolen from the 5000 block of Westchester Drive.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged by a BB in the residential 3000 block of Diana Drive.
Lost or stolen wallet: A man's wallet was reported missing at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.
Criminal damaging: A windshield was cracked at Vinnnie's, 1255 S. Raccoon Road.
Burglary: A floor safe containing $450 in cash was stolen from the residential 100 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.
Drug offense: Police arrested a man at Frederick and Third Streets on a drug offense.
Theft: A man is a suspect in a theft in the residential 100 block of South Raccoon Road.
May 7
Aggravated robbery: An unidentified suspect used a knife and stole cigarettes at True North, 1704 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Arby's, 701 Niles-Canfield Road reported being shortchanged by $41.72.
Breaking and entering: Police arrested a man in the 100 block of North Raccoon Road on a breaking and entering charge.
May 8
Theft: A compact disk player was stolen, and there was damage to the dash and door lock of a vehicle in the 4000 block of New Road.
Criminal damaging: Scratches were reported on the door of a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass at the Pembrook Apartments, 4150 Pembrook Road.
Theft: A purse was reported stolen from Davis Elementary School, 4302 Maple Ave.
Theft: A woman's wallet was reported stolen from Davis Elementary.
Attempted auto theft: A driver's door lock was damaged in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.
Theft: A snowblower was stolen from the 40 block of East Liberty Street.
Theft: A registration sticker was stolen from a vehicle at Bob Evans, 1038 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: Summonses were issued for the arrest of a man and woman suspected of a theft from Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Money was taken from the victim's account at various locations.
Lost or stolen: A dealer plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A tent was taken from Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Drug offense: Police arrested two men at South Four Mile Run Road and charged them with drug abuse, marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle windshield was damaged at Wal-Mart.
Breaking and entering: Entry was gained through the roof and a large amount of cash taken from Kirk Road Car Wash, 4429 Kirk Road.
Theft: A wallet from a ladies' purse was stolen from the Kidney Center, 139 Javit Court.
Criminal trespassing: A summons was issued for a male suspected of trespassing at the 1400 block of Fountain Square Apartments.
Criminal damaging: The window of a 1995 Pontiac was damaged with a rock at Eat 'N' Park restaurant, 5459 Mahoning Ave.
