Jennifer Scott, Daniel Walter Jr. are engaged

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Announcing their engagement are Jennifer Janet Scott of Youngstown and Daniel Alan Walter Jr., also of Youngstown.
George and Janet LaPlante of Kinsman are the bride-to-be's parents, and Mr. Walter is a son of Linda Taylor of Denver and the late Daniel Walter.
Ms. Scott is pursuing a degree in fitness and nutrition through Thompson Education Direct of Scranton, Pa. She is manager of Vitamin World in Boardman.
Her fiance attends Youngstown State University, where he is pursuing a degree in electrical engineering. He served as a petty officer third class sonar technician in the U.S. Navy.
The couple will issued invitations for their wedding.
