YOUNGSTOWN -- Pupils, their families and members of the community can explore traditional and nontraditional careers at the first Hayes Middle School Career Fair in the school gym from 8:45 to 11:30 a.m. May 23.
Community members searching for career information or considering a career change are invited to attend. Youngstown State University officials also will provide details on admission procedures and financial aid. Guests should enter the front door of the school, 1616 Ford Ave.
Hepatitis C seminar
YOUNGSTOWN -- The American Liver Foundation offers a free educational seminar on hepatitis C within the black community at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Elizabeth Health Center. Hepatitis C is a serious liver disease.
The program is part of a national campaign to raise awareness in specific at-risk populations.
