Bush promises to hunt attackers

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- President Bush denounced the bombings in Saudi Arabia today as the work of "killers whose only faith is hate." He vowed to "find the killers and they will learn the meaning of American justice."
"Today's attacks in Saudi Arabia, the ruthless murder of American citizens and other citizens, reminds us that the war on terror continues," Bush said.
The president made the remarks at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, where he was speaking on his tax-cut and economic stimulus plan.
"My thoughts and prayers and those of our fellow citizens are with the families of the victims of yesterday's murders in Saudi Arabia," he said.
"These despicable acts were committed by killers whose only faith is hate, and the United States will find the killers and they will learn the meaning of American justice," the president said today.
On the hunt
"Anytime anybody attacks our homeland, or our fellow citizens, we will be on the hunt," he added. "We will bring them to justice."
"Just ask the Taliban," Bush added, recalling the U.S. victory over the Taliban government of Afghanistan.
"I'm optimistic we can overcome anything in our path," he said.
"We pray for them. We mourn the loss of life," Bush said of the attacks late Monday in Saudi Arabia.
