Woodruffs mark golden jubilee on trip to Las Vegas

XAUSTINTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Carleton E. Woodruff Jr. of 3948 Brandomyne Ave. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Las Vegas from May 2 to 8.
The former Shirley A. Fortunato became the bride of Mr. Woodruff May 2, 1953, at South United Presbyterian Church in Youngstown. She recently retired from the Austintown Local School District, where she was a paraprofessional.
Mr. Woodruff is a retiree of Sheet Metal Local 33.
The couple have five children, Kathy Krupa of Columbus; Carleton and Craig Woodruff, both of Austintown; Dean Woodruff of Alta Loma, Calif.; and Randy Woodruff of Columbus. Eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren complete their family.
