LIMELIGHT Awards, achievements



WARREN -- Donald E. Fatobene, a mortgage loan officer with First Place, was elected to serve as affiliate director for the Warren Area Board of Realtors for 2003. He is also a board member. First Place is the parent company for First Place Bank and several other businesses.
CANFIELD -- Innis Maggiore Group, an advertising agency with offices in Canton, Canfield and Pittsburgh, is the fastest-growing agency in Ohio, according to statistics compiled by Advertising Age magazine. The trade publication reported Innis Maggiore's revenue increased 38.4 percent in 2002 compared to the year before, surpassing the growth rate of 13 other Ohio agencies. The company was ranked 311th largest ad agency in the nation, compared to 349th a year before.
NILES -- Niles Expanded Metals & amp; Plastics has secured the industrial certification ISO 9001:2000, a quality management system certification applicable to the manufacture of expanded and structural fabricated metal and plastic. The certification helps managers to ensure that customer requirements are met in production and allows for customer feedback and quality checks during the manufacturing process.
NORTH LIMA -- Charles Alan Adams of North Lima was one of 12 drivers recognized by the Ohio Trucking Association as a Driver of the Month in 2002. Adams is employed by R & amp;J Trucking Inc. and has driven more than 2.5 million miles in 29 years without a chargeable traffic accident.
EAST PALESTINE -- Tubetech North America, a producer of small-diameter welded steel tubing based in East Palestine, has secured the ISO 9001:2000 industrial certification. The certification demonstrates that Tubetech has a quality management system which complies with standards established by the International Standards Organization, a requirement for any company to do business with the automobile industry and many other industries.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Loretta Eiland of Youngstown has been awarded a Child Development Associate credential by the Council for Professional Recognition in Washington, D.C. The CDA credential, which is included in child-care licensing regulations by 46 states and the District of Columbiana, is awarded based upon evaluation of the applicant's work with young children or families by an early childhood education professional.
