XBRECKENRIDGE, Colo. -- Living in Colorado Springs, Colo., after a honeymoon in Belize, Guatemala, are William F. Jackson, 711 N. Weber St., Colorado Springs, and his bride, the former Cheryl Burling-ame, 723 Independence S.E., Washington, who were married April 12 at Father Dyer United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Sandra Stephens presided at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held at Wedgewood Lodge.
Parents of the bride are Jerry and Pearle Burlingame, 13172 South Ave., North Lima. The groom's parents are Aida Jackson, 843 Delwood, Raleigh, N.C., and William and Peggy Jackson, Ocean Isle, N.C.
Black gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Linda, Brenda and Carol Burlingame, the bride's sisters, and Pamela Wye, her cousin. Flower girl was her cousin, Elizabeth Hancock.
Christian Jackson was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Chris Hall, Kevin Laves and David Council. Ring bearer was the bride's cousin, Tommy Hancock.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree at Muskingum College, New Concord, and a master's at the University of Toledo. Prior to her marriage, she was an African program specialist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, in Washington.
The groom holds a bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University in Raleigh and a master's from Colorado State University at Fort Collins. He is a recreation specialist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, in Colorado Springs.
The couple served with the Peace Corps.
