Anniversary reception is set for the Hartsocks

XCOLUMBIANA -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Walter R. Hartsock, 4561 W. South Range Road, will be celebrated during an open reception planned for 6 to 10:30 p.m. May 24 at the Boardman Township Park Community Center.
Arrangements for the event have been made by their children, David Hartsock of Youngstown, Daniel Hartsock of Greenford, Antonia Lee Ujczo of Wyomissing, Pa., Donald Hartsock of Wadsworth, Dennis Hartsock of Plano, Texas, and Bruce Hartsock of Oak Island, N.C., and their 14 grandchildren.
The former Barbara T. Culp became the bride of Mr. Hartsock May 19, 1953, in Catonsville, Md. They are members of Good Hope Lutheran Church in North Lima.
Mrs. Hartsock retired in 1991 as a registered nurse at Salem Community Hospital.
After serving with the U.S. Army from 1949 to 1952, Mr. Hartsock was employed as a branch claims manager at Underwriters Adjusting Co. in Youngstown until retiring in 1986.
