BEST FEET FORWARD: The Royal Lipizzan Stallions perform at the Charles and Daisy Black Equestrian Center at Ohio University-Chillicothe. The show took place Wednesday near Chillicothe, Ohio. The Lipizzan, or Lipizzaner, breed originated in Austria and was for centuries owned solely by the royal Hapsburg family. The Austrian Lipizzaners were rescued by the American Army near the end of World War II. There are fewer than 3,000 purebred Lipizzaners in the world.
