Here are the base salaries and breakdown of the total compensation paid to Austintown's 18 full-time firefighters last year. The firefighter contract expired this year. An arbitration hearing for the township trustees and the firefighters is set for Thursday. Under the last contract, firefighters received an annual 5 percent raise in each of three years, beginning in 2000.
