GIRARD
May 3
Theft: A woman reported someone removed the rear license plate from her vehicle while she was in the 40 block of West Liberty Street.
Domestic violence: A Louis Circle woman was charged with domestic violence after police said they heard her threaten to kill her boyfriend when they intervened during an argument.
May 4
Possible stolen property: An employee of the Ohio Central Railroad System, 1290 Poland Ave., called police after discovering various railroad tools in the back of a pickup truck parked on property near Byers Street.

Theft: A woman in the 400 block of South Market Street reported a cellular phone and compact-disc player taken from her vehicle.
May 6
Theft/criminal damage: A man in the 500 block of Hazel Street reported someone damaged his vehicle's dashboard and stereo before removing 25 to 30 CDs.

April 29
Criminal damage: A woman in the 4000 block of Monticello Avenue reported about $1,000 in damage to her car's door.
Attempted auto theft/criminal damage: Someone damaged the left door lock to a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier, in the 4000 block of Monticello Avenue, before trying to steal it.
Theft: A man reported a wristwatch was removed from his vehicle while it was parked at Forum Health Northside Medical Center, 500 Gypsy Lane.
April 30
Forgery: An employee at Psycare Inc., 2980 Belmont Ave., alleged the mother of a former patient passed a forged drug document.
Theft: A woman in the 10 block of Tuttle Drive reported her son's bicycle taken.
Theft: Someone stole four urns from Phillips Duncan-Lakkes, 1155 Church Hill-Hubbard Road.
May 1
Arrest: Police arrested a 17-year-old Youngstown boy on an aggravated menacing charge after a woman alleged he pulled a gun on her son near Roosevelt Drive and Northview Boulevard.
Arrest: After a traffic stop at Northside Medical Center, a 25-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with receiving stolen property when police determined the vehicle was stolen.
Arrest: A 34-year-old Warren man was charged with violating probation.
May 2
Vandalism: An employee at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex, 1620 Motor Inn Drive, reported part of a room's ceiling collapsed, possibly from the shower being left on.
Recovered property/criminal damage: A man reported his daughter's clarinet and case removed from her locker at Liberty High School, 1 Leopard Way. The instrument was returned to the school office, but the case was damaged.
Burglary: A Hubbard woman reported someone broke into her mother's residence in the 5700 block of Logan Arms Drive through a rear patio door and removed an undetermined amount of property. Several phones were disconnected.
Auto theft: A woman reported her 1987 Plymouth Sundance stolen from the Tally Ho-tel parking lot, 4249 Belmont Ave.

Criminal damage: One resident in the 1900 block of Tibbetts-Wick Road reported someone used a baseball bat or other blunt object to damage a mailbox and lantern; another resident reported someone damaged an external lamp on its post, possibly with a BB gun.
Theft: A Poland woman reported her cellular phone lost or stolen while she shopped at Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave.
May 4
Assault: An Austintown woman reported a woman attacked her when she answered the door to her room at the Knights Inn, 1600 Motor Inn Drive.
Criminal mischief: Several people reported four juveniles shot paintballs at their vehicles as they drove on Logan Gate Road.
Breaking and entering: An employee at Phillips Duncan-Lakkes discovered someone broke in and took a lamp, a stained-glass window and other antique merchandise.
Arrest: After running a vehicle registration check at a Speedway gas station, 4210 Belmont Ave., and determining the car was stolen, police arrested a 19-year-old Akron woman on charges of receiving stolen property and having no operator's license.
May 5
Arrest: After conducting an inventory of a vehicle involved in an accident on state Route 193, police charged a 58-year-old Youngstown man with leaving the scene of a crash, failure to comply with the orders of a police officer, various traffic violations and improper handling of a firearm. Officers say they found a .22-caliber firearm under the driver's seat.

May 1
Arrest: After pulling over a vehicle for having a cracked windshield, police arrested a West Liberty Street man on charges of operating an unsafe vehicle and carrying a concealed weapon.
May 2
Criminal damage: A man reported two spotlights and a light fixture were damaged in a Girl Scouts cabin at Harding Park, 249 Roosevelt Drive.

Domestic violence: Police arrested a North Main Street man on a domestic-violence charge after his wife reported being a victim.
Assault: A Walnut Street man reported a girl spit in his son's eye while they were at Section 8 Skate Park, 770 N. Main St.

Theft: A woman in the 500 block of Sunset Drive reported someone stole a ceramic statue from her yard.
Burglary: A man in the 30 block of Fox Street reported someone entered his garage, broke into his car and removed a stereo.
Auto theft: A 1996 Cadillac was stolen from a driveway in the 800 block of Woodland Avenue.
Theft/criminal damage: A man and woman, both from Youngstown, reported various items taken from their vehicle, which had damage to its trunk lock and its passenger-side window broken.
