Jenny Franko of Canfield took first place in the extracurricular division, editorial cartoon category, in the recent Press Day activities at Youngstown State University. Her last name was incorrect in a story in Saturday's editions.
Youngstown Area Community Action Council Head Start pupils who participated in a "Style-A-Book" event at Renaissance Place last week were part of a literacy program through which children and parents acted out favorite books. The program stresses literacy and reading and their importance in the development of children and families. A photo caption in Friday's editions referred to the event as a style show.
