Township trustees say that unless they make budget cuts, they will have a $1.2 million deficit at the end of this year. A state fact finder, however, ruled in February that the township trustees did not prove during a hearing about their contract negotiations with firefighters that they were facing financial difficulties. Here is what trustees say the township budget's funds will look like without cuts. The figures, which are rounded to the nearest dollar, include the repayment of a $500,000 loan trustees said they needed to pay employees earlier this year.
