English: U.S. aid to Iraq to pay off in long run

HERMITAGE, Pa. -- U.S. Rep. Phil English of Erie, R-3rd, said the United States should be willing to put some money into rebuilding Iraq, but that country has sufficient money and resources to rebuild its own infrastructure.
English said Monday that a willingness by the United States to lend money to Iraq up front would go a long way toward fostering good will between the two countries, perhaps leading to a long-term relationship that could benefit both.
